Dodgy meat at Makro

My fiancee and I decided to host a braai and have a few friends over since it is the Easter weekend. We went to Makro to stock up on meat and beverages. Amongst these, we bought a tray of the Grabouw Boerewors which was supposedly on special and had a "Packed by" date of 28 March 2013, and a "use by" date of 02 April 2013. We got home, got on with the braai only to find out that the boerewors is off. It was NOT edible at all and tasted poisonous, to say the least. I cannot explain what an embarassement this was to us as we invited people over for what turn out to be disastrous evening. Makro should take care to not sell rotten food to the public. At least respect us that much!!!
