Treated like a common criminal

I have a dual card, my mother has the main card and I have the secondary card. I went into buy some clothes during my lunch hour and they wouldnt let the purchase go through as my ID number didnt reflect on their system, only my mother's. They called customer service who just didn't pick up and they stood around joking and dancing to the music on the line while they were on hold. I asked them if there was no other way to verify my ID other than standing around dancing and they said no. I then asked for my ID and card back and it was thrown at me like I was a common criminal coming to fromthem. To add insult to injury, as I walked out they burst into laughter. So unprofessional. I am a regular shopper at Truworths and my account is always paid up to date, is this the way they treat their regular customers and if so, perhaps the people of Port Alfred should avoid buying from Truworths, it's a small town and word spreads very quickly.
