Woolworths
Dissapointing service

Shops, Products, Services

Today my sister & I were at Woolworths Walmer Park. We waited patiently in the changing room queue & when it was our turn I politely asked the changing room assistant if my sister could accompany me as I have recently had a big operation that limits my mobility so I needed her help getting in & out of clothing.
The assistant blatantly said no to my request & said that if my sister had to join me in the changing room she would have to put her items of clothing aside & would have to come back to get them. When asked would my sister lose her place in the queue the assistant said 'JA' ..I find this UTTERLY unacceptable. I understand that only a certain number of items are allowed in a changing room but we both were still under that allocated number (which the assistant never even bothered to check) as we each had less than 6 items and I needed my sister's help.
I told the assistant that I would be taking this up with management.
Management was accommodating & said he would take it up with the changing assistant, I saw the manager walk towards her to speak to her & I left the store after that.
My shopping experience was not pleasant & will think twice about shopping there again.
