I was given a R50 gift voucher for my upcoming birthday. What can one buy at Edgars for R50? I have spent thousands at Edgars over the past few years. I felt totally insulted. It is purely a marketing strategy - they want you to buy something of value and put the R50 towards it. I would have preferred it if they gave the money to charity although what can one get for R50? I am seriously considering closing my account. I have never defaulted once on a payment. You can keep your gift voucher!!
