Defy F350 Fridge & L350 Larde

A Matching Defy Fridge F350 & Freezer L350 units was purchase on the 13/7/2013 from Hirsh's Appliances Milnerton. It has come to our attention that the upper r/h section of the freezer door was damaged, and also that it is very difficult to open the door. There was also a distinct thudding sound coming from the unit, but not regularly, so very difficult to isolate. We also noticed that the refrigerator upper left door seal was not sealing correctly resulting in unnecessarily running. I informed Zaid Gamildien on the 30/7/2013 and he
provisionally agreed to my suggestion of a swop of these faulty units for the more expensive Bosch KSVL30 & GSNVL30 Innox matching units for which he promised to forward quotation for the swop. I received a call from Zaid this afternoon to inform me that they were now not prepared to swop these units as they were already used and that it would not be falling under the CPA as it was now more than 7 days old. He said that he would be logging a call to have a technician sent out to inspect the units and if found to be faulty a swop would be gladly done... We find this totally unacceptable! Hoping for an ammicable resolution!
