Very dissapointed in the product

We have experienced that when you try to open the part that keeps the pampers nappy on the baby that it either doesn't open or it rips or the stickiness as it were isn't sticky.
you can imagine having to go through this in the early hours of the morning with baby crying, we bought 3 packs of of 52 i think it is and at least 4 - 6 of the Nappie's have to be thrown away for the amount of money we pay i feel that at least one pack should out of the three should all work or am i asking to much?
my sisters have also experienced this with their kids I'm seriously considering another brand
i have always preferred the brand but i must say after this i really want to move away from it.
