Above store advertised Braai Relish for R6 a can for today only. At the front of store I noticed a large crater with the items. No price was visible. I aked an assistant to check. While she was gone I asked athe guy at the customer service if the cans were R6. He confirmed. I picked up a pack of 12. At the counter, after scanning the pack, I asked the cashier if the price of R6 was correct. She said that the item was R8. I requested for a supervisor, who went to double check. She then called for Dinesh, who first blamed it on the computer and that the price was not adjusted. He was prepared to give me the item for R6. I reminded him of the Pick n Pay policy. He claimed that there was no price on the crater and that I did not qualify. He then noticed that the pack I had taken was the onion and tomato mix. He said that that was R8. To avoid the nasty looks I was getting from other customers I took the item. He could not explain why ALL the Miami products were in the same crater. My concern is, how other unsuspecting customers are going to payR8 rather than R6. How many of us are checking our till slips. Ironically today is Senior Citizens discount day. Very disappointed. with store.
