Angered by poor service after misrepresentation

I have never been so angered by poor service following what happened at Mr Price Home yesterday. Last week as I regularly do - went window shopping and went to Mr Price Home. I identified an item which was a pocadot laundry tin labeled was selling for R79.99. After careful consideration I woke up on Saturday morning to go and purchase it, to my surprise the lady gave my husband 10cents back to which I responded you forgot the change and lady responded no its R99.99. I pointed her to the large red signage that said its R79.99 and she said nope it's not. I then requested to speak to someone since she just left me, to which the person who is responsible for the pricing came and said Oh isn't there anything on that shelf that's R79.99 of which u had to check and report back to her no. After speaking to the manager she suggested I take another one which was on sale but was written biscuits which would not work because I was strictly buying this for my laundry washing powder. I'm angered the false representation and am certain this is against the Consumer Protection Act. How many more items are like this across the Mr Price Group? Not even an apology from all 3 people I spoke to.
