I missed one payment for a Woolworths personal loan of R233, due to my bank account changing. I was immediatley handed over to Nationwide Recovery services, who phoned me 3 times a day for nearly a month. I repeatedly asked for the bank details to make a payment, which I never received. I eventually received a letter with the bank details. I made a payment of R500 on 25/06/2013 and an additional payment of R200 on 28/06/2013, to ensure my account was up to date. I kept receiving calls, messages from Nationwide harassing me for the payemnt. I informed them that I had made the payment. They requested I email proof of payment and informed me it would be updated in 48 hours. I emailed proof of payment on 05/07/2013. I received no response. I called on 11/07/2013 and spoke to Kalipa Mjana. She said I must go to Woolworths and they will fax my proof of payment. I said this is not acceptable. She said they are in a backlog. She then said her manager, Samatha Eksteen would contact the payment department and call me in an hour. I still haven't received a callback in 24 hours. The service is terrible!!! I will cancel all my accounts ASAP.
