Pick 'n Pay
Pick and Pay needs more staff like Lizel

My father is 89 and lives in Allanridge. He has no transport and cannot get to Pick and Pay in Odendaalsrus that is 15km away. I live in Pretoria and have made an arrangement with the manager of Pick and Pay to order groceries for my father and then pay it by internet transfer. The management has been very friendly and accomodating towards me. Every Friday I mail them a list of groceries that my father requires for the next week.

Lizel Coetzee, a very caring and friendly staff member, then go out of her way to help us. She will phone me and tell me if there are special offers on any of the products that I want, or ask if she can substitute something for another product that may be on sale etc. If something is not in stock she also will let me know. I really appreciate the effort that she makes to save us money as my father is a pensioner and we are really struggling to make ends meet.

She then keeps the packed groceries safely until someone in Allanrdige can pick it up and deliver it to my father. She has been doing this every Friday for more than a year now and always immediately helps us, no matter how busy they may be.

Pick and Pay can do with more people like her!
