Bad custome

I bought a heater at checkers lakeside mall it has less than 3 months then it stopped working, i looked for the slip and i couldn't find it. on thursday i went back to the store to go ask if i can return the heater with the slip because it had stopped working, the lady that i spoke to said it was okey i can bring it back, unfortunetly when i got there the lady was already on her way home but she explained to the other lady what the story was and that said she will assist me but as soon as that lady went out this other one said she won't assist us with out a slip, we tried asking her question but she said we must speak zulu to her as she won't speak to us in english. she left us there without saying anything and called the other lady to come hear what we have to say. that lady never had her name badge on and treated with so much disrespect that i have never expirienced before in my whole life as a customer. my main concern is that if they were not going to be able to exchange the heater without the slip why did they have to make us drive all this way for nothing. is this how checkers treat thier customer & really is thier branch only a 2 months guarentee? i am a very unhappy.
