I sent an email to [Email Removed] on the 2nd of July to which I am yet to receive feedback. On the 4th, I then lodged a complaint on the Edgars website (ref.0807130006/GO). I received feedback on the 8th, telling me that I would be contacted within 48 hours. It has now been more than 48 hours and I am fed up!

Edgars is refusing to return faulty work shoes. The Midrand store manager sent the faulty shoes to be assessed by the manufacturer. The store manager then told me to go and buy another pair at a different Edgars and he would credit my account as soon as he got feedback. The manufacturer has come back to say that this is due to general wear and tear and I am not looking after my shoes properly. The shoes are 6 months old and are very well looked after! The store manager even went as far as to ask me what surface the shoes are used on!? I work in an office, not a construction site!

I am now at a loss as the Midrand store still have the faulty pair and I have gone and bought a new pair on account as per instruction from the store manage
