I was waiting at the kiosk to make a purchase. The cashier was busy with a lady infront of me but apparently couldnt help her as their system for airtime was offline. Meanwhile an african man jumped the queue and stood right infront of the cashier. ( And before she denies this I stood there long enough to know that the system was slow) I ordered what i needed while the man was still speaking to her in Xhosa. She still had the nerve to ring up hes goods before mine. I payed and called the supervisor who was wearing a Customer service sash. I explained the entire situation to her and all she did was to say sorry. I told them and the manager whom i contacted 20 minutes later that this was clearly a race issue. Clearly I was the only coloured at the front but why treat me different to any other person? Does my money not have the same value as that of someone of another race? I am still so angry!!! Incidents like these should never happen.
