Refusal to replace damaged goods and bad attitude

I bought a griller from Shoprite in Maitland on 01:04:2012.A few months later it started giving me problems and tripping plugs, 24:11:2012 returned to store- exhanged for new one. The new one started giving me the same problem. I went to the store on 07:07:2012 and the manager Miss Beckshow i think, told me with plenty of attitude that she will not take the griller back as its now out of warranty and tht had i requested a refund and bought a new one thn warranty would still be valid (what???). I asked her how a griller they gave me in November could be out of warranty and was told that the warranty is valid for the original griller bought in April 2012 .To me that is complete and utter nonsense how could warranty be on the original griller which was exhanged. The griller i am having problems with is not the griller i bought in april 2012 but new one they gave me in Nov 2012.Miss Beckshow (not sure if i've got the name right) said her piece and left me standing there not interested in anything I had to say further. Clearly this product is defective. Shoprite must stop ripping customers off, i will make sure i tell anyone who is willing to listen not to buy any electrical prod from Shoprite.
