Bad, Bad, Bad

I went to my local Shoprite store in Belhar, Airport Mall, in Cape Town. I went in to buy 1. BBQ Griller, 2. Steak, 3. Sausage, as it was my intention to have some 'braai'. How disappointed I was when the grill that I bought, the actual griddle was skew, hence burning the meat, as the meat was lying on the heating element. How disgusted I was when I found that the pre-spiced & marinated steak pack that I bought was off, meaning it smelt rotten, or old to put it lightly. Although this was not a pleasant experience, and I had to inconvenience myself by going back to store after calling then, I was even more shocked at the level of professionalism and business acumen shown by the manager on duty (mentioned). Yes, she I was going to swop the grill for another one, I was aware that as told by the butcher, that there was no fresh steak. I then told her, as a show of 'goodwill', I will not take my entire refund back, I will keep the rest of the items, and she must just give me some fresh lamb in its place, and some spice, and/or some marinade (as a show of goodwill) for the inconvenience caused to me. Instead she refused, and her attitude towards me was extremely common. I am disgusted!
