I bought a sleeper couch from Bears to the value of R5000 in August / September 2012. The sleeper couch was delivered by Bears to the complex that i live at. Within two months of receiving the couch the wood in the arm rests broke on both sides. I approached Bears in Parow Mall where i bought the couch and they subsequently send someone to collect the couch and have it repaired.

Two months after the couch was repaired, it broke again, this time wood supports within the couch and another piece just broke off the front of the couch. I went back to Bears at Parow Mall and this time informed them that i do not want the couch back as it is clearly been made of inferior materiel. I was contacted by Nurine from the depo who informed me that they had actually given me a demo model from the shop floor instead of a new couch from the wear house. We agreed that i would refunded.

At the time the shop was busy with stock staking and they asked me to wait a bit. This was two months ago and Bears have not come to collect the couch nor have they processed any refund. Clearly Bears is quick to take money but disgustingly slow to refund the money where they have sold inferior products.
