I went to PEP Stores in Rayton, East of Pretoria sometime last week to put some clothes on lay-bye. The shop was very busy at the time and as the lady rang my things, she noticed that the pajamas I took had a medium top and the pants were a small size (happened previously without them noticing) She asked me which size and I said small. I went back this morning, asking her if she could exchange it for a medium size rather. She said I could not do it if I am not taking out the lay-bye? Will it be that much of an effort to just open the lay-bye infront of me and exchange it? I said that if I come back at the end of the month to take out the lay-bye they might not have the correct size anymore to exchange it for me and I then asked her if that's the case if they will then refund me with that amount and she said yes, they will. Is it too much work to just fix it now on a clients request or is there some kind of rule that they are not allowed to do it? I can't see why not? In my days they would call it going the extra mile for a customer, but they just don't seem to care. They never seem too friendly either. It's like they hate their jobs or something. I've just about had it!
