Checkers & Checkers Hypers
Bitter taste in my mouth!

Sometime in May2013 I went to Checkers Protea Heights and received a 'rain check' for 2 boxes Hulett's sweetner 100's. The supervisor issuing the 'rain check' said I'm welcome to use it at any store. Yesterday 01/07/2013 I went back and they still didn't have. Today I went to Checkers Hyper Brackenfell (Fairbridge Mall) only to be told by the cashier that I cannot use my 'rain check' there. She then called the pay point supervisor who then went to the admin manager. After 20 long minutes the supervisor came back saying: "Ooh I'm sorry but my admin manager said that you cant use your 'rain check' here, oh and by the way Protea Height still doesn't have".

Whatever happened to going out of your way for your customer... you claim that you can find any cheese in the world for me but what about writing off a R20. My 'rain check' was for R29.99 each and the current price is R39.99

This has left a very bitter taste in my mouth considering I drove pass PNP and 6.8km later had to put up with this!!!
