I went to the Randfontein branch on 5 May 2013 looking for a tracksuit for my daughter. The store had the jackets and pants on separate hangers and separate clothing rails. I chose the ones I wanted (size 10 pants and size 12 top) and went to pay. They refused to let me buy it that way - saying that the customers had separated the items - that if I took a size 10 pants I had to take a size 10 top. Needless to say, I did not take the tracksuit. I called the customer care and got a ref no (Ref 0505130023/GO). I received a call from the manager to say she apologises but she can't do anything about that. I must go to another store to see whether they will sell it to me that way?!?!?!? I called the call centre again and spoke to a Jonathan (the supposed PA to Relations Officer. I explained everything again and he agreed that the store should have put both the top & bottom on the same hanger if it was to be sold as 1 item and then promised to come back to me. Still waiting... HOW VERY PATHETIC CONSIDERING HOW BIG EDCON IS!
