More of an enquiry than a complaint on

I bought a pair of Adidas F50 soccer boots for R1 999 at the Tygervalley centre and with these soccer boots you suppose to get a chip that you can use in order to track your top speed, ave speed, etc. When i bought the boots i was very excited I checked the boots for the chip and there was no chip with, I took the boots back but not to the same branch I took it to the one in Parow centre and i was informed that you must buy the chip seperate?? Can Totalsports please confirm that the chip comes seperate or something as i was informed by a friend that the chip comes with the boots.
