I bought a titanium gold plated ring of R599 from Sterns on 21/05/2013 after a week and a half the gold plating went off, I took back the ring and were told that after arranging with area manager that ring would be sent back to replate. Two days after arranged date with manager I sent my aunt to collect ring, we were involved in car accident leaving my husband seriously injured. On her arrival I was phoned to say we need to choose another ring as that one could'nt be repaired. I asked for my money to be refunded because due to my husbands injuries he won't be able to go to Welkom to choose another ring soon. Melissa said that the manager refused and they will keep the ring and proof of purchase until we can come to the store. I am not satisfied at all and feel it is my right to have my money back as I was even refused to be given a voucher for the value of the ring. And were told they are doing me a favour to let me choose another ring.
