My boyfriend and I went to the Cotton On store in Westgate on Saturday afternoon as he had gotten two vouchers for his birthday. After getting the things he wanted, we went to the till and they rang it up, then he gave them the 2 gift cards. The cashiers didn't know exactly how to use or process the gift card as a means of payment - surely this should be taught?? Or have been brought up in training surely? About 20 minutes of waiting passed and the regional manager, Gift, walked in, went to the back and we were told that they will ask him to help us with the gift card. 15 minutes later, he just walks out the store after being asked to come and help with a customer (us), and doesn't come back. If that is the attitude of a MANAGER that represents the Cotton On brand then I don't want anything to do with the store. My boyfriend and I often purchase things from the store but this was such a bad experience for us. After 50 minutes of waiting, we walked out with no items as they couldn't get the cards to process and it kept telling them that they must contact head office. Please come up with a better system so that people don't have to have such an unpleasant shopping experience.
