Typo
Gift vouchers can't be used

On 17 April i purchased a R440 gift voucher from Typo in Brooklyn. The shop assistant said it will work at various shops including Cotton On. On the flip side of the gift card the various names are listed where one can use it also including Cotton On. Today, 7 June i tried to purchase certain clothing from Cotton On in the Kolonnade Shopping Centre and they refused to allow the purchase. I was forced to pay cash. The shop manager phoned the branch manager and apparently both Typo and Cotton On have the same holding company, but they are not linked to share gift cards. The problem is now mine!
