On Sat 15 June, I purchased a Glomail Feet Bath from the Bayside store. At home I opened the box to find the product had been removed from the inside packaging and that the pumice stone on the heel of the product was cracked and it was a clear that the product had been used by the way the bristles presented and soap on the suction pads. I phoned Peter Timm, the store manager and voiced by disgust that they would put a used rejected product back on the shelf. He blamed Glomail for re-distributing a returned product. He said that I should return the product for an exchange and well as giving me a replacement at no charge. I also bought some chipped dinner plates which also had to be returned. When my son went to exchange the products, he was issued a voucher and was made to pay for both products again. The manager makes an offer and revokes it the next day? Is this the way you do business? Do I have to physically have to remove every single item from the packaging to inspect it so that I do not have to waste time and money returning items to the store which should have been in a sellable condition to start with? I expect this type of thing from a shop at Chinatown.
