Will not refund me for unused product

My steam mop that I bought more than a year ago stopped working. I decided not to have it repaired & just to buy a new one. I went to return the replacement pads, I bought about a month or two ago, since I have not used them & Philip at the Fourways branch refused to give my money back as I bought it more than 15 days ago & I don't have a receipt. My point is, I don't need the pads as the steam mop stopped working & the pads is a Verimark product, why would they not want their product back? What am I suppose to do with the pads as I don't have a mop to use them on? Verimark is the only store that always have problems when you want to return a product that is only theirs! IN THE PAST I PURCHASED THEIR, GENESIS VACUUM, TOBI STEAM IRON, STEAM MOP ETC...(just to name a few) I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM VERIMARK! THEIR PRODUCTS SEEM TO BREAK AFTER THE GUARANTEE PERIOD & THEY ALWAYS SEEM TO LAUNCH A NEWER MODEL OF THE SAME PRODUCT ON THE MARKET. IN THE FUTURE I WILL ONLY BUY THE KNOWN BRANDS LIKE SAMSUNG, LG, PHILLIPS, BISSEL etc. I am definitely staying away from the Verimark products as the after sales service is pathetic!!!
