Used 3D Blue Ray player 3 times doesn't work!!!

We bought a Samsung 46 inch television along with a 3D Blue Ray player that cost R12500!! We used the 3D player exactly 3 times and then it stopped playing disks after about 3 months. At 4 months of having this player my husband went to Makro and told them about the problem. He asked for a swap for a new one and they refused saying they would only do that within 14 days of purchase (we were never informed of that) - in fact we were told by their staff we had 6 months in which to return if items don't work. NOW we have to wait for them to send it away for repairs and if repaired we will have to accept a "REPAIRED" item and not a new item which is totally unfair considering it was used only 3 times and packed up through no fault of ours!! I spoke to Tracey who just rattled off "the usual that they have to say as Makro employees" without really listening to me. I will be taking this matter further especially considering we spend A LOT of money at Makro and they should take that into account before brushing off valued clients. Makro is NOT around the corner for us and we are tried of constantly havign problems with MAKRO items and getting the runaround!! WE WANT ACTION!
