Ikram Badooram puts phone down in customer's ea

Ikram Badooram, manager of Sun Glass Hut in Ballito, put the phone down in my ear this morning. I was enquiring regarding a warranty exchange that has been dragging since March 2013 - he gives false information and passes the bucket. He might have felt embarrassed because he did not have answers for me, and felt it best to just cut the call. Giving him the benefit of the doubt I phoned again and he just cut the call again without answering. The call was made from a cellphone, showing the number - to his cellphone - so he had my number. Thereafter he emailed his colleague - Elisa- to "Please get back to the customer regarding this matter". He was therefore obviously full aware of what the query was about.

The worst part is I was talking in a normal tone as I know throwing a fit does not help. He is incompetent in dealing with customer - let alone manage a shop and do a simple return of a defective product!

I took it upon myself to phone the head office and managed to sort out the delivery within 10 minutes with a very helpful Elisa. Ikram Badooram needs some basic customer service lessons. I will never support his employer again.
