Poor quality shoes

I had purchased a pair high heeled shoes last year around September. I must have worn it for not more than a dozen times and one of the shoes break in half. It was about 7 months old when it broke. I took the shoes back to the store only to be told by the manageress that the shoes have a 6 month suppliers guarantee and there's nothing they can do about it. Truworths need to check up on the quality of goods that they get from their suppliers cause the shoes are obviously not even worth half the price I had paid for them.
