I have always shopped at Shoprite because of their affordable prices and since moving to JHB CBD i've been shopping at the Eloff street branch and the lack of hygiene there is just appalling. From the cockroaches to the rotting fridges, this is just unacceptable, is this now the price we pay for low prices? I was horrified after buying bread which was 4 days away from its 'Best Before Date' but i have reason to believe that the bread was changed from its original packaging because it wasn't fresh, I guess this is a strategy of reducing losses from slow-moving stock; but at my expense?? Health officials really need to sort out that place
