I'm Edgar's client for approx. 19yrs, & in all my yrs of dealing with the Edcon group, I have never received such an exceptionally high quality of service that I received yesterday.
I have been experiencing problems with my Edgars acct being blocked due to some FICA requirements & have updated these details via the contact centre, another store & twice online.
I went to the store at Lunch time, despondently waiting in a queue when I was caught off guard when GUGU greeted me with a smile; (although she looked tired from a busy day). She tried to process my acct, but incurred the same roadblock; that did not deter her. She apologised, then she contacted Customer services & whilst she waited for a response, she kept on engaging with me, being sympathetic & also apologetic for my previous experiences with Edcon staff. After engaging with Customer services she succeeded in rectifying an error in 10minutes, which I have being experiencing for more than 90days. Her perseverance, customer services quality & people skills make her an asset to the Edcon group, & should not go unnoticed. Hats off to her & she should be THE role model to other Edcon staff.
