Rotten Steaks

I purchased over R2000.00 worth of produce from Food Lovers Eastgate Branch on Saturday. Included in this were bulk packs of Porterhouse Steak. Tonight (28 May) opened them up and from the smell realised they were well past acceptable for consumption. Now, steak does often smell a little especially matured steak. But this usually dissipates after a while. The smell of these lingered in the kitchen for hours afterwards and even spread to other areas of the house. Really disgusting. So I would like to know what I need to do and what action FLM is going to take to ensure that they stop selling rotten meat. I for one will stop purchasing meat from FLM until I have been assured that proper action has been taken to ensure against this bad practice. I will also be contacting the department of health to request that inspections are undertaken at this branch.
