I received a necklace as a gift which I have been trying to return to Sterns for two weeks now. The conditions for return state that I may return my necklace for a full refund within a 30 day period. I first went to find out if I could return it for a refund and was told that only if they had enough cash in their store, would I be able to return it for a refund! I then stated that my husband bought it on his debit card and I would send him in. When he went into the store a week ago, he was told that it would take too long to reverse the purchase and refund him on his credit card and that I must go back in again and they would give me cash. So on visit THREE, I was told by Hayla that they don't have enough cash (R599.00) to refund me and she will phone me when they have cash. She also said the 30 day return period would not matter (i was worried that i would run out of time). She took my details and promised to phone me. I called the store today and was told she has gone on leave! Still no phone call. My 30 day return period expires today! What do I have to do to get my money back.
