They don't want to credit damaged shoes

On the 23rd of April I bought boots at truworths sunnyside as I was feeling cold to attend a late meeting. I wore the shoes that nite and the following day when I tried to wear the shoes again I realise hs damaged heels I couldn't take it back immediately because of meetings. The 26th of April early in the morning I went to complaint about the shoes.the manager who Is a guy said he can't credit it back the shoes instead will send it to head office.this morning they call after a month or so to tell me they can't credit those boots or even fixing it is not their problems how can I fix shoes two days after I bought it I don't need those shoes anymore it shows quality was not up to standard
