Promises made then told sorry no stock

I Applied for a Samsung galaxy S4 thought FNB. It took ages and FNB has been completely useless and that a whole other complaint i have on here. Tuesday this week i got the SMS to say my device has been sent to the couriers, Digital planet deals with all the Smart Device deliveries. I contacted them on Tuesday to find out when delivery will be done and they informed me and made a note on my account saying needs to be delivered by Friday the 24th. They said numerous times that this wont be a problem. Thursday comes and i contact them confirming if it had been dispatched. I was then told "Sorry we dont have stock" you will have to wait another week. Im away on holiday for 2 weeks from Friday which is why i needed it delivered by then. Why was i not told on Monday, Tuesday, and on Wednesday that there is no stock??? This is really unprofessional and im disgusted that you can tell me more than 4 times it will be delivered this week and then told sorry no stock!
