I have just about had it with this supplier. As part of First National Bank's marketing campaign, they offer certain smart devices to selected clients at a competitive rate. This may be the case, but this offer means nothing if it is virtually impossible, as I have found, to actually GET THE DEVICE! I applied for a Samsung Note 8 .1" and my application was approved more than a week ago. I was sent an sms that the service provider Digital Planet did not have stock at that stage but that stock would be available on the 18th of September (today). When I called them this morning I was given the assurance by the call centre representative that they would receive stock by 12 pm today and that, if all goes according to plan, I would have the device by Friday (the 20th). When I phoned again about an hour ago, the call centre representative informed me that they don't have stock. She was most unhelpful, unable to tell me if and when they may actually receive stock, leaving me
completely in the dark as to (1) if they may ever get stock, (2) when they may get the stock and (3) when I can expect delivery of the device, if at all. FNB should use a more competent & reliable service provider!
