Last second cancellation and not notified

How on earth do you cancel Anthony Horowitz at the last second and not even bother notifying those concerned??? We put time off in at work to get there, made alternative arrangements for younger children and faced rush hour traffic from Edenvale to get there in time. All because your so called notification system malfunctioned? You have one VERY dissappointed young man who has been eagerly anticipating this for a good while and one VERY angry fanatics member who has been with you since the inception of the reward scheme. And all because you couldn't be bothered to phone. Why? We had to phone to book our places so why is it in ANY way acceptable for you not to do the same. Things happen, we can all understand the author being ill, your actions and oversights however showed blatant disregard for those who keep you in business!
