I have written three emails to Edgar's / Edcon to the "Accounts Client Services". I closed my account about a week ago and paid the full amount that was reflected as an outstanding balance. I then received an e-mail from Flatta Mzobe that she will not close my account until I payed an amount of R32. I then went checking to find out how come this amount is now reflecting and it seems that Edgar's / Edcon have debited me for a "lifetime club fee"!! I wrote back advising them I would like my account closed and that I will not pay this fee as I have closed my account and do not need a life time membership for an account that has closed. I have written three times since and have been ignored each time and still my account is open with additional fees for who knows how much being debited to my account without prior approval.
