11 May 2011 we bought a Whirlpool Fridge freezer set from DionWired with a 2 year guarantee. 2 Days ago the one door handle broke. I went to DionWired, which referred me to Whirlpool, stating that this is a common problem with this specific model. I want to ensure you that we look after our appliances, and therefore this is not due to man-handling that it broke, it is fact that this handle is poor quality. Whirlpool refuse to replace this without
a call out of R400 & R420 ex vat for a new handle which i feel is ridiculous, we paid R14000 for the set and expect quality for that price.

I have all the Invoices and delivery notes of this products when we bought it. I don't mind fetching this from a distributor, but the mere fact that i have to pay for poor quality product is unacceptable.

So be careful when you buy Whirlpool does not seem to bee same quality as older products.
You don't expect a freezer to have problems after 2 years? And now the issue over 6 days?
Unhappy customer, won't buy any Whirlpool product again.
