Three years and parts not available

Bought a whirlpool fridge 3 years ago and recently fridge needed repairs only to find that parts are not available locally and whirlpool cannot tell when they will get parts. So frustrating as fridge not that old and service with whirlpool. So be aware if buying whirlpool products that you may not have good after sales support.
