Poor service and bad attitude

We bought a queen-sized inflatable camping mattress (with built in pump - R700). Used it once and the second time, on inflating it, one of the welded plastic seams along the top popped, causing a huge bubble on one side of the bed. As soon as we could, which we returned it to the store, hoping to get it repaired/replaced, but according to a disinterested salesman, and then an extremely rude store manager (I think he was the manager), all we got was a shrug of the shoulders and a "sorry there's nothing we can do, it's out of their 3 month warranty period". This very rude man then turned around and walked away! He didn't even look at it or suggest a solution to our problem. I might add that it's not the first time I have experienced such bad service and attitude from staff at this store and will most certainly be shopping for our camping goods elsewhere, especially since we now have a queen-sized mattress which only functions as a single bed, and is of no use to us at all! Outdoor Warehouse, I think you need to review your staff training as your employees seem very unhappy, or at least teach them how to smile... it costs nothing! I was wondering what the CPA ruling is on this?
