This is the outcome and response from Shimansky. I recieved a call from the Manager on last Tuesday to say Mr Shimansky has said that he will not be refunding the full amount and that he will give me the 5% surcharge in a form of Shimansky voucher. Why would I shop there again if i got such bad service. I declined the voucher & said this is unacceptable & that I want my full refund since the negligence is from ur staff for not informing me about the surcharge & nor on the invoice does it state there will be a 5% surcharge for goods returned. I decided to call the Head of HR 2tell them about my situation.15min later I get another call from the manager to say that Mr Shimansky has now decided to take away the 5% voucher he had offered me and that I can get my refund with the 5% surcharge dedcution and that's final. To Mr Shimasky, customer service & satisfaction clearly means nothing & his 5% surcharge does.he needs the money more than I do lol..Their profit margins are so high and he couldn't keep me happy by wavering that fee & admitting that their staff was at fault & accepting responsibilty & accountabilty for their negligence, so much pride and unethical behaviour.
