Faulty Skullcandy repair/replacement

According to the product leaflet, skullcandy ear phones has a lifetime warranty. So when I took it back to the store where I bought it (this was on the 27/03/2013) I was told that it will take approximately 7 days to get some form of feedback. It has now been more than a month and a half and still no one can give me an answer as to what is happening. Every time I go into the store I get the same answer saying that the manager was going to give me a call... and guess what? I AM STILL WAITING!!! This is really bad customer service seeing as the store manager does not even have the decency to call as promised.
