Bad Attitude

I popped into World Time Machine to have my watch battery replaced.

When I entered the store I was met with disdain. I approached with a smile and was met with sullen faces. I have never felt so awkward and have never been treated so poorly. I attempted some light humour which went down like a lead balloon.

The tension in the shop was palpable, and simply unacceptable. If looks could kill I'd be 6ft under.

I could not get out there quick enough.
