Quick to take a lot but slow to pay up

I'm quite irritated with Takealot. I purchased an item on 06 May 2013 via credit card and cancelled it around 4pm on the same day. The item wasn't even delivered to me but it had to go through 'approval' and an 'evaluation' and I am still out of pocket waiting to hear about this refund 7 emails and 3 phone calls (asking the same questions) later. I mean really! And by the way, just for the record, I cancelled my order because CNA was cheaper. For once a traditional purchase trumped the online age. I was reading within 30 minutes of deciding to buy an e-reader.
