I payed my Edgars account in full, and requested that I receive a letter stating same and that this is account is closed. I am applying for car finance, without the letters no one can help me as ITC has not been updated yet. I called on the 02/05/2013 and got told that a letter will be sent within two working days. I called on the 06/05/2013 to follow up on this letter. I got told there is a back lock, but I will receive it by end of day or by the 07/05201. I called today to again follow up, I was then promised that within a half n hour I will receive the letter. This all happened at 09:00 this morning. I called in this afternoon to again follow up, and got told that they system is off line. I honestly have not experienced such bad service. Edgars is quick to hand out credit, but is utterly useless when one request something so simple like a letter. I asked to be put through to a manager but the call centre agent is very against me speaking to a manager about this. I need this sorted out ASAP. I have probably easily spent about R100.00 on all the calls made to the call centre and getting no where. If I dont have my letter by tomorrow, I will have to take this to the media.
