Official record of conversation that never was??

Today I received a letter from Edgars which purports to serve as written record of a telephone call between myself and the call centre during which I apparently confirmed various aspects of my financial affairs. I have three problems with this letter:
1. The letter is dated 31 MAY 2013 - why am I only receiving it now?
2. The letter is dated 31 MAY 2013 yet the telephone call it serves to confirm apparently occurred on 20 JUNE 2013 - almost a month after the date of the letter. Seems a bit odd to me.
3. I have absolutely no recollection of this conversation.

Perhaps someone from Edgars could explain to me how the letter confirmed a conversation which hadn't yet occurred and perhaps they could provide me with a transcript of the conversation to refresh my memory. If not, I would like to receive a written retraction of the original letter.
