Reggie's
False advertising and promisesf

Shops, Products, Services

A year or two back I registered my child to join the Reggies club. He would receive a R50 bithday voucher as a condition of joinging. We did receive the vouchers annually until now. I am told Reggies no longer gives out birthday vouchers. They did not inform us of this change. They are still advrtising club membership and the benefits in store. This is false advertising and making a commitment to children who join to send them a birthday voucher needs to be honoured. If you have stopped the vouchers, what date did you enforce this and why were we not informed that the terms of our membership have changed. Even more perplexing is that another child I know who is a member just received his voucher this March but my child and my niece have been told they will not get it! The ASA needs to investigate this. Honour your promises to children. Our kids were anxiously awaiting their vouchers to spoil themselves with a goodie for their birthdays. I cannot support a store who clearly does not care about children.
