Woolies Little world - sending expired vouchers

I registered with woolworths little world as i am expecting my first child and i have been a woolworths cash client for many years. They sent me a welcome letter and some vouchers, which i received 6 September. Thank you very much. Was a great surprise! I went into the store today 12 September to try and use the one voucher, Spend more than R500 and get R100 off, only for the cashier to tell me that the voucher has expired. Needles to say i was shocked, as i had only received them less than a week ago. I try call the client care who refers me to little world and no-one seems to be able to help, they are going to send an email to investigate (HOW is that going to help me right now when i need to pay??). I'm shocked and disappointed that woolworths send expired vouchers to clients. How does this happen? I hadn't registered months ago that it was somehow taking too long via post!! The voucher validity is March to end of August (all of them). And i receive the vouchers in September?? I had to pay for all the goodies which i had already chosen as i had already spent quite some time selecting everything!!
