I have recently paid up my account with Hub, I have never paid late since having this account, i was told a while ago that I had made a payment short of R10 which I had rectified, I decided since my accounts were being paid in full i should obtain a credit report just to check, I came across Hub which says I am 30 days over due so i call the call centre who can not help me and referred me to collections on speaking to the lady there, she says even if i am a day late it will go on to itc, so i said when was it supposed to be paid by she says the 4th and I said I had made paymnt via eft on the 4th she says oh it updated on the 5th which is why they had listed me as 30 days< so I tell the lady i was in hospital and she says as example if i am hospitalised then i must call and say that i am in hospital so my question is if it is not possible to do that how do i do that? for being a good customer this is what i get for a days difference??? She says it is nedbanks policy and there is nothing that can be done about that, well makes me think in future about having this account and dealing with nedbank as well
