I had lately had an bad experience with Edgars, I pay my accounts on time every month without skipping payments. I received a call from the accounts department of Edgars informing me that my account is in arrears, I told the caller that my account cannot be in arrears and that I have proof of every payment made. The lady on the phoned said they will have a look at it. Today I received an call to be informed that they listed me at the credit bureau that I am an slow payer. I phoned the Edgars at the Kollenade Sentrum in Pretoria where I make my payments every month, I told the accounts department lady there that I have paid my accounts and given her all the details/information that she needed as proof that my account is paid up to date. Only to hear that on the day of the payment being made their systems were down thus the payment was not recorded on their system. Even after I have send mails and spoken telephonically to their credit department, they still listed me at the Bureau.
How long will it take them to rectify this mistake? 5 days or more? But they are quick to tell you you didnt pay?

Is this fair? I do not think so!
